Servicio Para la Paz (SPP) coordinates safe, meaningful, affordable, and fun international service opportunities for volunteer groups.
SPP utilizes a unique approach towards cross-cultural community development in which we equally prioritize the rich and genuine experience of international and local volunteers with the sustainable and collaborative development of our long-term partner communities.
Volunteers visiting our partner communities in the Dominican Republic learn about community-driven development and contribute to projects that have been identified by the local Neighborhood Community Council for Development and Peace.
Volunteers live in their host community, dedicating their time to volunteer serving and learning side-by-side with local community members. This intentional cultural immersion experience is designed to expose volunteers to the long-term community development process.
